Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to inform that the process of reviewing all IUAES 2019 Inter-Congress submissions has ended. If for some reasons you do not know the status of your submission, please email us to iuaes2019@mazurkas.pl.

Please note that according to the IUAES 2019 Inter-Congress rules all panel convenors, workshop organisers and round table organisers should be registered and pay their congress fees before the postponed date of 25 April 2019.

The deadline for the Early Bird fee for all other participants is 15 May 2019. You can see the congress fees and payment deadlines here.

If you are already pre-registered you can pay, add additional services or manage your registration profile here. To log in use your e-mail address which was used for pre-registration and your RegID. You may find your RegID in the e-mail sent to you entitled “Confirmation of pre-registration”. If, however, you cannot find it or you do not remember which e-mail address you used for the pre-registration, contact us via email to iuaes2019@mazurkas.pl.

Please make sure that all your co-convenors, co-organisers, co-authors and discussants are also registered. If they are not, ask them to register here.

Among other attractions the IUAES 2019 Inter-Congress Organisers have prepared the following:

■ free of charge public transportation for every participant

The organisation of the IUAES 2019 Inter-Congress in Poland, Bronislaw Malinowski’s homeland, is also the way to celebrate the centennial of the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the University in Poznan. Currently, the Polish government has made an attempt to remove anthropology and ethnology from the list of officially recognised scientific disciplines and hide it under a strange label of “cultural and religious studies”. In a sense, your participation in the IUAES 2019 Inter-Congress will be an act of your solidarity with Polish colleagues in their fight for acknowledgment of the discipline. See the letter of support sent by the IUAES and the WCAA.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Poznan in August 2019.
